Earlier this year David Mueller sued Taylor Swift
after he lost his job at 98.5 KYGO’s “Ryno and Jackson” morning show
for allegedly groping her and now the “Shake It Off” songstress has
filed her own countersuit. According to reports, Mueller insisted he never “grabbed
Swift’s butt” during a 2013 meet and greet, and he sought damages due to
the fact that he was fired.
However, Taylor has a much different story. Her filing states, “Ms.
Swift knows exactly who committed the assault — it was Mueller. He
intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an
intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will,
and without her permission. Mueller did not merely brush his hand
against Ms. Swift while posing for the photograph. He lifted her skirt
and groped her. Swift was surprised, upset, offended, and alarmed.
Her
hope is that a resolution of this counterclaim will demonstrate that
Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful
conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to
other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and
humiliating acts.”
