Ben Affleck Eyes New Standalone “Batman” Film

He had such a great experience playing the Caped Crusader in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and now Ben Affleck is set to write, direct and star in an upcoming Batman project. According to a Deadline report, the film will be released sometime after Affleck’s Dark Knight debut and will “reflect the Batman character that emerges after Batman V Superman and Justice League.”

Meanwhile, the “Mallrats” man is booked for an appearance at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con tomorrow (July 11) where he’ll plug “Batman v Superman,” slated to hit theaters on March 25th, 2016.
