Vince Vaughn Signs On For “Hacksaw Ridge”

Always up for a challenge, Vince Vaughn has inked a deal to star in the forthcoming Lionsgate project “Hacksaw Ridge” under the direction of Mel Gibson. Also starring Andrew Garfield and Sam Worthington, the much-anticipated movie is slated to hit theaters in 2017 and has an approximate budget of $45 million.

Per the synopsis, “This is the true WWII story of Corporal Desmond Doss, the first conscientious objector to receive the US Congressional Medal of Honor after acts of bravery and sacrifice saving 75 men during the Battle of Okinawa.”
