- Take a lukewarm water shower. Hot showers dehydrate your skin.
- Make a mixture of milk cream and turmeric and add a bit of honey. Use this on parts of your skin that are tanned/dry. This helps get rid of the dry red patches. Honey can help ease tight, scratchy skin instantly.
- Olive oil, avocado oil or jojoba oil work from inside out. They do not leave an oily residue. Aloe vera is soothing, and helps remove dead skin cells.
- Exfoliate your skin on a weekly basis. Smearing the juice of a lemon on itchy skin helps remove the tan and keep the skin clean of infections.
