Leonardo DiCaprio Scores Serial Killer Role

He always seems to find the most intriguing projects in Tinseltown and Leonardo DiCaprio's next gig will reunite him with legendary director Martin Scorsese. The “Titanic” actor will play H.H. Holmes, otherwise known as America’s First Serial Killer, in “The Devil in the White City,” based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Erik Larson.

According to the historical record, Holmes built his own three-story hotel, nicknamed Murder Castle, and lured his 27 victims from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair to stay at his establishment so he could kill them and sell their skeletons to medical schools.
