So far he’s made a remarkable recovery since coming out of his drug-and-partying-induced coma on Friday, but Lamar Odom still has a long and difficult road ahead. The estranged husband of Khloe Kardashian
was discharged from a Las Vegas hospital on Monday (October 19) and is
currently in critical condition at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los
Angeles as a result of several failing organs, including his kidneys.
Furthermore, if Odom’s kidneys continue to malfunction (he’s been on
six hours of dialysis per day thus far), he may need a kidney
transplant, though doctors are still determining the extent of his brain
damage and his prognosis for leading a meaningful life.
