Jennifer Lawrence Pleads With David Letterman Not to Retire

Though she’s still relatively new to the Tinseltown scene, Jennifer Lawrence has developed a deep love and admiration for “The Late Show” host David Letterman. On Wednesday (May 20), the “American Hustle” hottie posted a photo via social media to protest his retirement plans. In the image, she held a sign that stated, “Don’t do this! No one is sick of you it’s all in your head.”

Lawrence also added the caption, “Thanks Dave Late Show with David Letterman,” joining in the chorus of well-wishing tweets from stars like Oprah Winfrey, Zooey Deschanel, Sia, Jimmy Fallon, Lena Dunham, Mindy Kaling and Jessica Chastain.
