Prince William and Kate Middleton: World Mental Health Day

Taking care of some royal duties, Prince William took his lovely wife Kate Middleton to Harrow College in northwest London on Sunday (October 11). The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in the house for a World Mental Health Day event hosted by the Mind organization, promoting the anti-stigma campaign Time to Change and meeting with volunteers who have dealt with their own mental health problems.

William asked one of the workers, “What made you get involved to do this as a vocation, almost?” 18-year-old volunteer Nikki Mattocks replied, “For me it is because, for years - I have experience of hearing voices - and I never really felt there was a positive role model out there.

When I said that I was hearing voices, I was told that I must be a murderer. For me it is really important for people to know that we are just normal, average people.”
