Alleged images of Galaxy S6 body leak

The photos were picked up by French site NoWhereElse, one showing a series of metal bodies that looks like it was taken early on in production. While there’s no way to know if these are real or not, it is largely believed that Samsung will opt for a premium metal body for the Galaxy S6.

Continuing the trend started by the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4, these images show a body crafted out of sturdy aluminum plate with rounded edges. This would make sense for next year’s flagship, as previous Samsung devices have suffered from poor build quality and cheap materials.
We also expect the Galaxy S6 to sport a larger display, and plenty of high-end specs. The fingerprint scanner will most likely return and we expect the front and rear cameras will get an upgrade.

The big question is when will the Samsung Galaxy S6 be released? Well, Samsung has very much followed Apple’s lead in recent years, updating its devices around the same time every year. That means we’re likely to see the Samsung Galaxy S6 for the first time in either February or March. However, it probably won’t hit store shelves until around April. It’s highly likely that Samsung will debut the Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress, which is scheduled to run between March 2nd and 5th next year
