Tim Burton-era Batmobile Model Features Pop-up RC Machine Guns

You’ll probably be a little disappointed to learn that this incredibly-detailed 29-inch long model of the Batmobile used in the Tim Burton-era Batman films isn’t fully remote control — you can’t drive or steer it.

But while it sits there looking beautiful, you can remotely deploy its pop-up machine guns, blast smoke from its afterburner, and trigger various accent lighting and sound effects, which is admittedly still pretty cool.

Limited to just 200 units it makes sense why each of these Batmobiles will set serious collectors back $US2,500 when finally available next year. But with a tiny Batman revealed in the opening cockpit, and a remote control shaped like the Bat symbol, it’s hard to resist making a pre-order, until you remember what you just spent on the holidays.
