“Spy” Rules the Weekend Box Office

While the sunny skies and warmer temperatures tried to lure moviegoers away from theaters, “Spy” still managed to post some decent opening weekend numbers. The brand new flick, starring Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne and Jude Law ended up raking in a respectable $30 million in ticket sales, placing it ahead of last weekend’s top dog “San Andreas,” which came in at #2 with $26.4 million.
