You can paint the minions on all your nails or just one nail, depending on how you like it. Also, if you are planning a birthday party for your li'l girl, you could keep a minion nail art station at the venue and see her grin from ear to ear.
STEP 1
- File your nails and apply a base coat to protect and create a smooth base.
- Paint electric blue (or any other inky blue colour) on your thumb, forefinger and little finger. Paint the middle finger and ring finger a bright yellow.
- Now, take a dotting tool and put tiny yellow polka dots on the fingers painted blue. In case you don't have a dotting tool, you can use the pointed part of a toothpick.
- On the two fingers painted yellow, make a thick black line, leaving a little space from the base of the nail.
- On the middle finger, take a bigger dotting tool (or the back side of a toothpick) and make two pale blue dots in the middle of the black line for eyes.
- Make another smaller white dot inside the pale blue ones. Follow the same process with only one dot for the ring finger to finish the one eyed minion. Let it dry.
- Now, take the same electric blue used to paint the three fingers and do a straight French tip on the yellow nails. The easiest way is to draw a straight line with the nail polish brush and fill in the gaps. Let it dry for two minutes.
- Finally, make a tiny black dot in the centre of the white dot to finish the eyes.
- Use a paint brush and make a curved smile to finish your cute minion nail art.
- Seal the nail art with a top coat and you are ready to flaunt your cool minion nail art.
