Benchmark Confirms RAM & Processor Speed Apple iPhone 6S

Through running a much needed benchmark is now officially confirmed what even through the Chinese approval authority Tenaa had come out: the Apple iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have 2 gigabytes of memory and are powered by a 1.8 GHz dual-core processor.

New Apple A9 processor that up to 70 percent faster and 30 percent would be more energy efficient than the Apple A8 processor in the Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

In light of Android smartphones, which are often nowadays powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core processors or even impressive 2.1GHz octa-core processors, pales the power of the Apple A9 1.8 GHz dual-core processor . However, Apple has for its iOS operating system does not require the computing power of a 2.5 GHz quad-core processor or impressive 2.1GHz octa-core processor.

The main difference with Android is that iOS specifically for Apple devices was developed and is much more efficient than the 'open' and 'universal' Android operating system. This tells Apple with its Apple A9 1.8 GHz dual-core processor similar or perhaps even better performance as Android smartphones that are powered by a jet engine.

Apple's claim that its new Apple A9 processor is 70 percent faster than the Apple A8 processor in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is plausible. Apple A8 processor in the previous two iPhones was in fact a 1.4GHz dual-core processor. In addition, earlier this week became already known that Apple iPhone and iPhone 6S 6S Plus now has a double amount of memory. This, too, has a considerable positive influence on the final speed of a processor. Instead of one gigabyte Apple now uses 2 gigabytes of memory in its new iPhone and iPhone 6S 6S Plus.

Smaller Battery

Another hitherto unexposed detail of the Apple iPhone 6S is that the device is equipped with a smaller battery than its predecessor. The battery capacity has dropped from 1810 mAh to 1715 mAh. Apple defends use of a smaller battery by stating that the iPhone 6S 30 percent more energy efficient than its predecessor, so users still steeeds should experience a similar stamina.

Prices & Availability

Upcoming Friday, September 25th, go to the Apple iPhone 6S and Apple iPhone 6S Plus in countries such as Germany, France and Great Britain as well as Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the United States sales.
