Android users have been left hanging for months waiting for Amazon to get round to making its Prime Instant Video service available on the platform. But it appears that day has finally arrived.
The retail giant updated its existing retail app to support video streaming - marking a different approach to iOS which boasts its own dedicated Prime Instant Video apps for iPhone and iPad.
However, once you've installed the retail app, you'll then need to add an aditional Instant Video app to actually get your streaming on the go.
As well as the ability to stream, the new Amazon app will let you buy just about anything you want from the online megastore and there's 1-Click ordering to make sure you don't spend any longer than you have to paying for stuff.
