Beauty Tip: Chamomile Oatmeal Face Mask

Chamomile Oatmeal Mask contains the relaxant and anti-inflammatory chamomile and oatmeal. Oatmeal contains salicylic acid, which has exfoliating properties. The honey helps remove dead skin cells while the sugar acts like a stronger exfoliant.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oats (processed)
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar (optional)
  • ¼ cup Chamomile tea (strongly brewed)
Instructions:

  1. Begin by brewing a cup of chamomile tea.
  2. In a bowl, add the oats, baking soda, and honey.
  3. Begin by adding 2 tablespoons of tea to the bowl and set aside.
  4. If your mix is too dry, add some more tea until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Now add the white sugar (optional) and mix well.
  6. The mask will be a bit on the chunky side.
  7. Wash your face and using your fingers apply the mask all over your face.
  8. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
  9. Do this in the shower as the process can be quite messy.
  10. Once you have let it stand for a while, rinse the mask off and apply some moisturizer.
