Amy Schumer Responds to “Trainwreck” Movie

Her new movie “Trainwreck” is full of laughs and love, and Amy Schumer is distraught that a gunman opened fire in a Louisiana movie theater killing two moviegoers and injuring nine additional people. According to multiple reports, a 58-year-old white man was at a screening of “Trainwreck” in Lafayette, Louisiana when he pulled a gun and tried to flee the theater along with the audience members who were running out the door.

Schumer tweeted, “My heart is broken and all my thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Louisiana.” Furthermore, said Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, "Obviously it could always have been a lot worse. Who knows what this deranged man's intentions were if he had gotten out? Who knows what he would have done? Fortunately that didn't happen."
