Oppo R5s With 3GB RAM & Snapdragon 615 SoC Unveiled

The Oppo R5s officially launched in Europe with two changes in specifications: 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and half of the price compared with R5. Complementary Oppo R5 was launched in the US, very famous for its ultra-thin 4.85 mm design with the price tag of $499 and $399 but now the Oppo R5s price only 199 Euro – approximately $227, a very good phone with the 4.8mm thickness and upgraded hardware for higher performance than its predecessor.

It will use a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 424ppi. It is powered a 1.5GHz Octa-core processor, Snapdragon 615 SoC and Adreno 405 GPU. The device will be upgraded to 3GB of RAM compared to 2GB RAM of R5, and doubled inbuilt storage up to 32 GB but does not support external microSD memory card slot.

13-megapixel rear Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture while there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 to capture wide angle selfie portraits. The device is equipped with a 2000mAh battery with fast charging technology. The Oppo R5s still runs Android 4.4.4 Kitkat-based on ColorOS 2.0 UI.

The Information about the Oppo R5s appears on the Oppo websites in Europe, and sell the product at 199 Euro. It will be soon available for purchase in other regional markets.
